Refund Policy
This is a courtesy English translation. The Traditional Chinese version is the binding original.
Refunds for AIVally paid subscriptions depend on the market and channel of purchase. This page covers Taiwan web (Ecoso Co., Ltd / NewebPay), new International web purchases (Whop), and existing historical Paddle subscriptions. All sections remain visible; which one applies depends on where and how you completed the purchase.
Purchase markets and refund channels
Aivally's paid subscriptions are handled by different sellers and payment providers depending on the purchase market and channel: the Taiwan web storefront is sold by Ecoso Co., Ltd; the International (non-Taiwan) web storefront uses Whop-hosted checkout where supported; existing Paddle subscriptions retain their original Paddle relationship.
Interface language does not change these relationships. Which section applies depends on the market and channel where you completed the purchase.
Taiwan web purchases (Ecoso Co., Ltd / NewebPay)
The seller for direct purchases on the Taiwan web storefront is Ecoso Co., Ltd, Taiwan Unified Business Number 83160164.
NewebPay is the payment-processing service for the Taiwan web storefront; it is not the seller. Refund requests for Taiwan direct web purchases are received and handled by Ecoso Co., Ltd.
The opening of online checkout for the Taiwan web storefront will be announced on this site; until then, checkout cannot yet be completed on the Taiwan web storefront.
The refund and cancellation terms in this section apply to a Taiwan web purchase as soon as that purchase is completed.
Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals; cancellation does not by itself create a refund for periods already billed.
Mandatory consumer rights you hold under applicable law (including Taiwan consumer-protection law) take precedence over anything in this policy.
Where a uniform invoice must be issued under Taiwan tax rules, Ecoso Co., Ltd issues it; when a refund is approved, the invoice and the amounts already collected are handled in accordance with the applicable rules.
To request a refund for a Taiwan web purchase, contact us through AIVally's contact page.
International web purchases (Whop-hosted checkout)
The International (non-Taiwan) web storefront uses Whop-hosted checkout and subscription billing where supported.
The final price, tax, seller, renewal, cancellation, and refund relationship shown in the Whop checkout and receipt governs your purchase. Aivally does not claim that Whop is Merchant of Record for every transaction.
To request a refund, start with your Whop receipt or subscription-management entry point; contact Aivally through the contact page for product-level help.
Existing International web subscriptions (historical Paddle)
This section applies only to existing purchases and subscriptions previously completed through AIVally’s Paddle checkout. Paddle is not the new International-Web launch checkout provider; those historical transactions retain their original Merchant-of-Record and authorised-reseller relationship.
This means that for those purchases your payment is taken by Paddle, and Paddle — not AIVally — issues the transaction record. This relationship does not apply to direct purchases on the Taiwan web storefront.
Rules that govern refunds
New International (Whop) purchases follow the checkout and receipt terms, applicable mandatory consumer-protection law, and any additional right AIVally expressly offers in writing; existing Paddle purchases retain Paddle’s current Refund Policy and Buyer Terms. Taiwan web purchases follow the Taiwan section above and applicable law.
This page is a summary and does not replace those rules. Where it differs from a provider’s current policy or applicable law, that current policy and the applicable law prevail.
General rule
For International web purchases, unless required by applicable law, the checkout terms, or the applicable payment provider, completed transactions are generally non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
For Taiwan web purchases, unless required by applicable law or agreed by the seller, completed transactions are likewise generally non-refundable; mandatory consumer rights are unaffected.
Mandatory consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits any statutory withdrawal, cooling-off, cancellation, refund, defective-product, or other non-waivable consumer right you have by law.
If any part of this policy conflicts with such a right, that part does not apply to the extent of the conflict.
Requesting a refund
Taiwan web purchases: submit refund requests to Ecoso Co., Ltd through AIVally’s contact page.
New International (Whop) purchases: use your Whop receipt or subscription-management entry point. Existing Paddle purchases: use the Paddle receipt, Manage Subscription link, or Paddle buyer support.
If you need product-level help, you can also reach us through AIVally’s contact page.
Please never send card numbers, full payment credentials, or other sensitive payment data through any channel. AIVally does not ask for them and cannot process them on your behalf.
Technical or product defects
If you hit a material technical problem that affects your use of the product, contact AIVally first through the contact page and we will try to resolve it.
If the issue cannot be resolved: use the Whop receipt or subscription-management entry point for a new International purchase, Paddle for an existing Paddle purchase, and Ecoso Co., Ltd for a Taiwan web purchase.
Cancelling a subscription
You can cancel a subscription at any time to prevent future renewal charges.
Unless applicable law or the seller/payment provider for your purchase channel states otherwise, cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Cancelling does not by itself create a refund for the current billing period.
Apple App Store in-app purchases
In-app purchases and subscriptions completed through the Apple App Store are billed and refunded under Apple’s store process where applicable.
Request refunds for those purchases through Apple’s mechanisms (for example, Report a Problem); AIVally cannot approve or issue those refunds on Apple’s behalf.
Google Play in-app purchases
In-app purchases and subscriptions completed through Google Play are billed and refunded under Google’s store process where applicable.
Request refunds for those purchases through Google Play’s refund mechanisms; AIVally cannot approve or issue those refunds on Google’s behalf.
Effect of a refund
Where a refund is approved, access to the refunded paid product or subscription may end.
Regional rules
Where your local law grants you greater or non-waivable rights, that local law prevails.
Policy updates
This policy may be updated, and updates apply prospectively.
The version in effect on the date of your transaction generally governs it, subject to applicable law.
